System Page & Staking Plans

This is a straightforward system which will throw up good priced winners. The main attribute of this system is that it is quick and simple to find qualifiers.

Choose all races with between 6 and 12 runners. It does not matter whether these races are Handicap or Non Handicap; you back in ALL Races of 6 to 12 runners.

To be a selection a horse must have been placed (first, second, third or fourth) at least four times in it's last six outings and on at least one of these occasions it must have won.

It must have run a minimum of twice in the present season and must have been placed in one of those two races.

It must be either a course or a distance winner or both.

It must be trained by one of the leading ten trainers at the course.

When all rules are satisfied you have a selection from THE MOST SUCCESSFUL HORSE RACING SYSTEM EVER.

Using a staking method you can also bet as many horses as you like in a race, so long as the percentage remaining from the sum of the selections is equal or greater to the percentage of the lowest priced horse.

To find the percentage use 100 / (price+1) so; 5/2 = 100 / (5/2+1) = 28.6%

Example.

 4 horses at 4/1 (20%), 9/2, 6/1, 10/1 = 62% leaving 38%. So which ever wins you make a profit as 38% is greater than 20%

There is a good book which explains multi horse staking in detail.

By mastering these techniques you will become a true professional 'investor'.

You need a good consistent strike rate selecting winners and that you will have by following my strategy When you start betting large amounts to avoid being shut out by the bookies, divide up your stake UNEQUALLY between several and alternate bookmakers. This will help to disguise your bets.

Backing two horses in a race is an excellent strategy to follow. I try to find the good, solid form horse that (should things be equal) will win. But as you know I believe that the favourite rules can scupper the good thing and that is why I like backing the favourite with the biggest threat.

A starting point is to simply bet 6 points on the favourite and 4 points on the 2nd selection, or in other words 60% of your stake and 40%. You can back 3 horses using 4,3 and 3 points so long as the fav is 2/1. Other variations are also possible depending on the favourites price.

To help protect your finances whilst getting used to this strategy I would suggest a 10% rolling bank, where 10% = 10 points (6 & 4) of your current bank balance and as you get winners the bank grows and during the inevitable losing spell it will cushion you. When using six and four points 4/5 is the minimum price.

When using my selections then if any of the two horses is a non runner then no bet. If you get 3 losing races on the bounce then stop for the day or await instructions. Min 4/5 but for two betting shows.

Remember "The key is always to start small and carefully grow the bank."

How to back two horses in the same race what ever the price.

You can always back two horses in one race to level (equal) stakes as long as the favourite of the two has odds larger than 6/4 but a minimum of 2/1 the pair is prefered.

But we can also calculate the stakes to always obtain the required base figure as long as one of the horses wins. Keep the base small to start.

This is the formula.  With practice is becomes quite easy.

Horse A is 5/2 and Horse B is 11/4. The base figure required to restore the bank is £75.

Stake A =(B+1)x Base figure divided by (A x B)-1

= (11/4 + 1) x base figure / (5/2x11/4)-1

= 3.75 x 75 / 5.875 = £47.87 = £50

Stake B =(A+1)x Base figure divided by (A x B)-1

= (5/2 +1) x base figure / (5/2x11/4)-1

= 3.5 x 75 / 5.875 = £44.68 = £45

Horse A stake= £50 @ 5/2 less Horse B stake £45 = £80 profit

Horse B stake= £45 @ 11/4 less Horse A stake £50 = £73.75 profit (close!)

This method can be a license to print money. I have another all together different method, which enables me to back as many horses in one race
